As simple as it may sound, the name Next2Nature references our core values – to bring people closer with nature.
At Next2Nature Landscape we combine each client’s ideas and preferences with our unique design style. In doing so we strive to create landscapes that not only become an extension of your home, but spaces that also embrace the physical and cultural contexts of the site. As a service-focused landscape company our goal is to exceed our clients’ expectations from day one. With our talented and professional staff, we bring passion, creative design solutions, and high level of vigilance to all landscape projects.
Founded in late 2015 by brothers Matt and Jared Winters. May have been the start of Next2Nature Landscapes story. However, this is not where the story begins for the brothers. Growing up in the landscape industry, the brothers started at a young age working in a family-owned greenhouse. It was here the brothers quickly realized their talent for the green industry. With their collective knowledge earned from working at their family greenhouse, local landscape company, and horticultural degrees. A business relationship was formed with a shared vision on how landscapes should be approached and installed in which Next2Nature Landscape Company was formed.
Meet Jared
Jared began his career young, starting out in a family-owned greenhouse in 2001. It was there where his passion for the green industry started. Through growing plants, creating flowerpot combinations, and customer interactions. It was here he became a true student of nature and developed his strong work ethic. Throughout high school and college he oversaw the installation of landscapes around the Bismarck/Mandan area. Upon graduating college from North Dakota State University with degrees in Horticulture and Landscape Design. He went on to spend the next several years working for a local landscape company designing and overseeing landscape projects in the Bismarck/Mandan area.
Meet Mitch
Mitch began his career working with his father at a young age at their locally owned landscape company. It was there that his passion for the green industry was born. After graduating from high school, Mitch attended North Dakota State University where he obtained his degree in Horticulture. Upon graduating Mitch returned to Bismarck where he managed a landscape division at a large local nursery for several years. Currently Mitch sits on the city of Bismarck forestry board where he helps with urban forestry growth. These opportunities throughout his career have helped further his skills of landscape installation and design, while strengthening his knowledge in the green industry.
Meet Matt
Matt began working in the green industry starting in 1998 for a family-owned greenhouse in Mandan. Eventually moving on to work for a local landscape company in Bismarck throughout high school and college. He graduated from North Dakota State University in 2009 with degrees in Microbiology. While
also becoming an active member of the North Dakota National Guard and still proudly serves and a Medical Service Corp. Officer today. Upon graduating from college Matt continued to manage, design, and install landscapes throughout the Bismarck/Mandan area. Matt has built a wealth of knowledge in the landscape industry installing some of the finest outdoor living spaces in the area.
